Outpost Firewall and gzip
Surely some of you use the program Agnitum Outpost Firewall. If not, I recommend. This firewall has one flaw that can be fixed - it prohibits, for security reasons, from accepting gzip-compressed pages by cutting out headers from browser requests.
In the 3rd and 4th versions of this firewall in the registry there was a key responsible for turning on / off cutting the header about accepting gzip pages in the browser request. In the 6th version of the key is gone - which will not prevent us from saving on traffic, taking pages in gzip. For this:
1. Click in the tray and chop off the internal firewall protection.
2. Go to his folder, open the machine.ini
3. EnableContentHandler = TRUE change to EnableContentHandler = FALSE
4. Restart Outpost, put in place the internal protection.
