Today we decided to look at the market as a whole and give a brief overview of the IaaS trends.

More recently, in our corporate IaaS blog, we shared the results of the RightScale research . It employed more than 900 IT professionals working directly with the IT infrastructure.
The main conclusions are that the market is gradually becoming saturated with offers from various IaaS providers, which makes services much more accessible for business. Customers are beginning to pay increasing attention to the opportunities offered by IaaS. Both in terms of immediate savings, and with the aim of modifying their business models.
This study showed the popularity of the hybrid approach and a very high degree of business use of various cloud services. At the same time, a direct relationship was shown between the company's growth rate and the integration of IaaS capabilities into its business processes.
In Russia, the situation is changing very quickly. The market is developing and becoming more popular. The maturity and experience of Russian IaaS providers allows you to safely transfer complex projects to the cloud to completely transfer IT management to the outside.
At the same time, amendments to the legislation also affected the general mood. Updates in the law on personal data pushed many Russian companies to revise their policies regarding the use of only the Western cloud.
