Microsoft has released a major update for Windows 10 ( First Major Update for Windows 10 ). According to the company, the update introduces a number of improvements to the work of the OS for various platforms, including improvements related to the compatibility of Windows with various devices and their drivers. Microsoft points out that with this update, Windows 10 has reached its current maturity and can be safely recommended as the main platform for deployment in organizations.



The key improvement was the increase in system performance, as the OS began to load 30% faster compared to Windows 7 on the same devices. Edge web browser, Cortana voice assistant, as well as Mail, Calendar, Photos, Groove, Xbox, Store, OneNote, Solitaire applications have been improved. The company has not published any technical information about changes in Windows.
