On November 3, a meeting of the #PostgreSQLRussia community took place in our Moscow office. This time the participants discussed the nuances of switching to PostgreSQL from other DBMS. In Russia, for several years now there has been a tendency to abandon proprietary DBMS. Some large companies have already migrated or are in the process of migration to PostgreSQL. Their experience is interesting not only from the point of view of the migration process itself.
