Radiohead band's song was performed by ZX Spectrum, printer, scanner and hard drives.

After the release of their last album, In Rainbows, Radiohead (which is known to have been distributed on the Web for an arbitrary cost ) announced a remix contest for the song Nude .

James Houston (unrelated to the group) was creative. He synchronously launched various computer (and not so) devices of the recent past so that the very composition Nude turned out from their side noises. First, about 70 seconds of noise loading the program from the film, then everything will start.

The author-ideologue of this incredible ensemble writes :

')

The competition was quite challenging, because the song is poorly suited for processing: she wrote at a rate of 6/8 and a rhythm of 63 beats per minute, when 4/4 and 120 beats are standard.

Tom York (the leader of the Radiohead group) said in an interview that they decided to launch this contest, knowing that it would be very difficult to make a remix.

I decided to combine several useless devices today, so that they would do everything possible musically, and not what they were designed for.

The sound is not beautiful, but it should not be so.

So,

Hard disk array - vocals and effects,

ZX Spectrum - guitars,

HP Scanjet 4c Scanner - Bass,

Printer Epson LX-86 Dot Matrix - drums.

In my opinion, very interesting, and most importantly, the music turned out quite recognizable. How much had to come up, do to write it. I'd add that the Finlandia TV and the oscilloscope are engaged in visualizing what is happening. =)

It becomes scary, you learn, you learn to play the bass, and the scanner turns out to be able to do everything. ;-)

C filing MyNews.com.ua . I have nothing to do with it. I saw the video there for the first time and decided to find out the details.
