Oracle has updated Java

Oracle released Java 8 Update 65 (October 20), correcting several bugs in this product. The new version has improved the work of the software with Apple OS X, and also fixed some shortcomings in the functions of the internal libraries. The update disables the use of the obsolete MD5 hash algorithm in software for operations related to the verification of the digital signature of applications. Applications using a digital signature based on this outdated algorithm will not work properly in the new environment.



Download the new version of Java SE at this link . The user is notified of a Java update on Windows 10 through the OS single notification center, the same for OS X El Captain. For older versions of Windows, use the update menu in the Java control panel applet.
