Web Camp 2015: how it was
Somehow it happened that this event was avoided in the Habré. And even m31 either forgot or did not have time to write about it.
I decided to make a contribution and tell about my impressions about Web Camp 2015.
This event was held in the framework of Odessa Innovation Week from 2 to 10 July.

According to a report from the organizers, 1,714 participants from 26 cities and 6 countries attended the event.
Since the topics about robotics, project management and sales in IT were transferred to other sections, here I want to dwell on such theme days as Back-end Developers Day, Frontend Developers Day, Designers Day.
Back-end Developers Day
It passed in three parallel threads: Architecture & HighLoad, DevOps & Cloud, and Frameworks & DB. The first covers such aspects of web development as large project architectures, the development of high-load systems and load testing. The second is approaches to the development and operation of software - DevOps, cloud technologies and their capabilities for building reliable backends. The third is the secrets of various frameworks and databases, their comparison and selection for certain tasks.

At the conference, practitioners presented narrow technical topics and shared the latest frontend-development news: front-end automation, templating and preprocessors, single-page applications and client templating, mobile sites and applications on web technologies, static generators, offline caching in local repositories, JavaScript frameworks , WebRTC, React, etc.

Designers day
At this conference, experts from leading companies working in the field of design, who shared life hacks and a lot of useful things in the intricacies of designing icons, applications, websites, and even tricks in time management for designers, as well as new products and current trends in design web and applications.

My colleagues and I took part on July 6 in Mobile Day , Robotics School and SalesLab.Product .
We are at Robotics School (second grade on the right)
On Mobile Day, we heard about the development, design and promotion of mobile applications for platforms such as iOS and Android.
On SalesLab. Product considered practical examples of the organization of the sales process in large grocery IT companies and IT projects, features of work in B2B and B2C segments, how marketing and sales in a grocery company correlate, psychological types of clients and sales professionals, strategic planning, etc.

As participants of the Robotics School workshop, we familiarized ourselves with the basics of robotics and independently tried to assemble several automatic devices, simple electrical circuits, and the first robot.
In general, the event is necessary and useful. Despite the fact that I was not present on all thematic days, there was an opportunity to dive into interesting reports by watching the channel on youtube .
