Orkut will be closer to offline
The developers of the social network Orkut report on the introduction of sms-service. This week (for the time being only for Brazilians), the exchange of “notes” via SMS will become available.
It is not yet known how soon such a service will be available in Russia. For example, Google Calendar includes the ability to send alerts about upcoming events via sms for MTS , Beeline and Megafon subscribers.
Somewhat earlier, the notification of new “scraps” became available in the Google Talk messenger: for those Google account owners who participate in the Orkut network, the notification of new “scraps” appears in the form of a pop-up window - just like notifications about new emails in GMail.
