Megahakaton IoT Russia from Intel and Microsoft

Intel IoT Roadshow continues to travel to different countries and will again stop in Moscow on November 14-15. Applications for participation in our first Moscow IoT Roadshow were filed by developers from various parts of the country. Of course, far from everyone was able to come to the capital. Therefore, this time together with Microsoft, we decided to expand the geography of the participants and are pleased to invite IoT enthusiasts from Perm, Kazan, Tomsk, Ivanovo, Yaroslavl and Petrozavodsk to join the megahacathon !

How to participate?

In order to become a member of Intel IoT Roadshow in Moscow, you need to fill out a questionnaire on the site iotroadshow.intel.com .

To register for regional hackathons, you must fill in the application form on the page of your city. Please note that the number of participants is limited and participation in the event is possible only by prior invitation. Therefore, when filling in the application, it is highly desirable to add information about the project on which you plan to work on the hackathon.

What will happen to the hackathon?

A prerequisite for participation is the development of IoT solutions based on the Intel Edison board and the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.

Each team that claims to have a project will receive an Intel IoT Dev Kit, including the Intel Edison board and the Grove Starter Kit Plus sensor kit . You can also use the resources of the Microsoft Young Entrepreneurs Support Program - Microsoft BizSpark, by receiving a special promotional code for participation, which can be activated once per team. After registering with BizSpark, you can get access to Azure cloud resources worth $ 150 monthly for each of the 5 developers in the team.

Before the hackathon, we will conduct training events and provide you with all the necessary information to become familiar with new technologies. During the hackathon, the best experts will be present at the site, who will surely help you solve all problematic issues.

Prizes

The most thoughtful, creative projects will not be overlooked - the winners will receive cash prizes from Intel, gadgets from Microsoft, as well as support from local partners. In addition, we will invite business experts to the jury to identify promising startups for future collaboration.
