Today we will talk about robotics, or rather about the event, whose name is Robonoch!
Recently, Skolkovo approved the date for holding the Robonoch this year, this is October 13, i.e. in less than a week. I did not find any interesting articles about this and decided to write it myself!
I will try to tell you quite briefly and without much water, what was there and what plans the organizers have for this year.

For me, this is a new format of educational and entertainment events for Russia. There is something in common with Comic Con, robotics fans are gathering in one form or another, people in science fiction costumes, in general, the atmosphere is cool.
To begin with, it is worth noting the venue, and this is the Central Telegraph, I have never been there, I think, like many, so it’s interesting to look at it from the inside.
During the night, the organizers offer to participate in the Foresight game, naturally on the topic of robotics, watch a couple of thematic films, speak out in the discussion club, last year the topic was “Robotics and the three laws of robotics Isaac Asimov”, they even arranged a disco.
But the main thing is, of course, various art installations, stands of the partners of the event, and among them are companies such as Autodesk, Microsoft and National Instruments.
National Instruments brought robo-chess - this complex allows not virtually, but physically playing chess with a robot, as the company representatives said, under the figures there are reed magnets, the drive controls the movement of the figures, the robot analyzes the move and moves the figures. Fun stuff really.
Autodesk organized a zone where they painted portraits of the event participants on their Wacom graphics tablets in their software environment.
I work on exoskeletons at IPMeh, so I met acquaintances from “ExoAtlet”, they just showed their latest achievements, guys were open, so if anyone is interested you can contact them.
There was also a bunch of small robots that could guide and even participate a little in the build process.
It's nice that an atmosphere has been created in which you can calmly communicate with all the guys representing their projects and company representatives, they very enthusiastically begin to answer all the questions, the energy of the event contributes!
In principle, the purpose of this event is to have fun, meet new interesting people, perhaps future colleagues, and those who are younger can communicate with people who are engaged in real projects in robotics and it is possible to find a direction for their future activities.
This year, Skolkovo promises that it will be even steeper and, in principle, described everything in sufficient detail on the site robotics.timepad.ru/event/252532 , by the way, for those who are interested to go, last year there was a rush, registration was closed very quickly, so a couple of my friends did not have time. True, this year it will be in the Skolkovo Hypercube. This time they promise more eminent guests, more variety of robotic projects, more master classes, there will be a quest, there will be a performance with live music, there will be a show with robots and, again, a disco!
