I post one of the simplest ideas from which it will be possible, if necessary, to make a profit: ranking the importance of words and phrases in Internet articles and news by the user community - each user can read a word to highlight a word or phrase that he considers most important (no more words, for example 5) which should be paid attention to the following readers keywords and send it to the system (for example by pressing ctrl + e or a special button). The words that have highlighted the most readers will be highlighted in red, less green, etc. (or will have different sizes) - can be used to automatically identify tags + can be used for search engines that will search for them. In this case, the tag cloud will be more relevant because it contains only the words used in the text (and even search engines seem to relate to this better). It will also eliminate the need to self-tag the author (if laziness as often happens). The author will also be able to determine whether he has correctly conveyed his thought or not.
The idea came after reading the mailing "fast reading memory intelligence." As I understand it, a person needs only a few words to continue to read the text in order to understand what is being said. These are the keywords that I propose to single out. That is, after reading the description, for example, the idea of the service offered by me, I will highlight 2-3 key phrases in my opinion, the second person will single out his own - the next one will only have to skim the text, focusing on the marked phrases to determine if he is interested or not.
With the rapid growth of information and news, this technology should significantly ease the burden on users.
To stimulate the interest of users involved in determining the importance of words - you can organize a kind of game (requires registration) - under the text or next to the tags formed in this way, indicate which user most accurately identified the most relevant words (the rest agreed).
+ Restriction of no more than 1 attempt from one IP to prevent bullying.
