I did something like creating a couple of small sites, such as business cards, but in order to be able to change information quickly, add / delete pages. Well, at the same time to earn extra money (link exchanges, contextual advertising). Actually, I needed to find a small, smart CMS to manage the site. In the bulk, they are all cumbersome, with bells and whistles, often paid ... And I found the same, free and ... in my head ...
Break a bunch of sites and search engines, tried to find the easiest option. I will not list what I just did not install, but everything is cumbersome, uses databases, some also with plugins, are paid. And I just needed the simplest functional socket. Finally I got tired of this pleasure and we, like-minded people, decided to build an admin panel to manage small sites, without using sql, and called it lightsatellite. The main emphasis was placed on the ease of working with it and ease of site maintenance.
The installation is instantaneous, just upload the folder to the public and that's it (although sometimes you need rights to write more, but in most cases everything works right away). Design - almost instantly integrates - from any DreamViver or even the template is altered. All you need to insert several commands, such as [menu], [content]. Pages are added and removed automatically with menu items, edited by a visual editor (almost the design of the text takes a few minutes).
For projects requiring promotion - separate meta tags for each page. For those who like to earn extra money from the site - added work with the largest exchange of links, the ability to work with contextual advertising. Added the ability to insert your code (convenient for placing counters).
