Service Idea: PC-Lynch

Almost all the more or less visited forums have a section dedicated to computer hardware. And not infrequently there appear topics like “rate the assembly” or “help to assemble a computer”. And then the idea came to mind ...

Actually the idea

The idea is to make a service on which it would be possible to make a list of components (hereinafter: assembly): indicate the approximate price, a link to possible price lists, and so on. After that, anyone could see, evaluate, suggest replacement of some components. Over time, the number of possible configurations added by users would increase. New visitors could look available and perhaps choose for themselves what suits them, while reading the reviews or recommendations left earlier. When the author returns, he will be able to choose from the proposed replacements for each item, or leave something that is. There will also be a history of the selection of components that would see what was offered and what options were rejected.

Identification

Since services of this type do not provide for frequent access by the same people for a long time, it makes sense to identify authors and those who will write comments using an OpenID or Google account.

Sociality

The social nature of this service lies in the fact that over time there will be visitors who regularly visit this service, leave tips / recommendations and the rest will add them. Thus, users who have a greater “weight” stand out (or I don’t know how to call it correct), the rest will listen to them and so on.
')
I don’t have enough time to realize it myself, and experience and skills, but for one not to pull it. Therefore, if anyone is interested, they can implement it, I think it would be nice to have such a service in Runet. In addition, there are Overclockers.ru, and if they are good to ask, I think the people from there would not refuse to discuss what the visitors will spread.

if someone undertakes to implement, then he would not mind if it could be indicated in small letters, although it would be the author of the idea O :)

UPD: I decided to try to implement myself. Chose RoR. If it works, then I’ll put it on the hosting, if not, then I’ll continue to teach the mate part to train to train to train :)
