The first presentation of Windows 7

So, at The D Conference, Julia Larson (vice president of Microsoft) presented a working version of Windows 7 on a Dell laptop.

So, the main changes on which the emphasis was made - Multitouch Interface. Immediately it should be noted that there is no cardinal new in this idea. Basically, multitouch uses exactly the same purpose as the iPhone.

The system interface is still the same as in Windows Vista. It is very noticeable that the system greatly slows down on user actions.
