36 on Fronttalks. A report about something that is not told anywhere

Hi, I'm a frontend developer from Yandex.Maps. A year ago, I did a strange thing - at the Fronttalks front-end conference in Yekaterinburg I gave a report on a completely non-technical topic. The conference program committee was in great danger when it put me in the program - is it interesting for someone to hear about the deeply personal experiences of an ordinary layout designer from Yandex? Fortunately, the theme of my story was close to many listeners and the report turned out to be one of the most popular in the history of the conference.

I am grateful to the organizers for the fact that I was fortunate enough to make such a report.

This year, the third conference for front-end FrontTalks developers will take place . This time I am not a speaker, but one of the organizers, and now I myself have the opportunity to “take risks” and draw up the conference program so that you are interested. Below I will tell a little about what we did.

"Introduction to accessibility mechanics" . Leoni Watson is blind. She will tell us, sighted, about her "vision" of the accessible web.

"Web animation on JS and CSS" . Alexander Zavyalov works in a group that has perhaps the richest experience in creating animations in Yandex. Easy, understandable, without cleverness, Alexander will tell us which methods of animations should be used and in what cases.

"The call is accepted . " Anna Selezneva tells how she was lucky to create an unusual site. Will tell about the difficulties that she had to overcome. In her story will be enough technical details, which (I know), many of us will hear for the first time in life. It will be a lively, bright, bold story.

We will also see Martin Kleppe with the report “Different Characters” . Martin promises us a funny story, which he says "can blow our brains and increase our productivity." We'll see :)

Vladimir Kuznetsov will tell about the WebPack project builder gaining popularity - he will tell about the little-known features of the utility. And Alexander Zinchuk in his unique manner of the narrator will tell about another collector "yms" . After these two reports, we will call the guys on the carpet and force them to fight - let them tell us which collector of these two we want and why :)

We are also waiting for the performance of Roman Dvornov from Avito. Roman as it appeals to the two previous speakers and tells them: “Guys, collectors and other console tools will not surprise anyone. But the automation of the development process of what we are dealing with in the browser receives less attention ... ". Interestingly, the previous two speakers will answer this statement? :)

Timofey Chaptykov from 2GIS will talk about the tool for "pleasant control" of the quality of the layout. The control is different, but pleasant - only from 2GIS developers. I saw this tool a year and a half ago, when I was visiting Novosibirsk at 2GIS. Now this product can be seen by everyone. An amazing thing.

At the end of the day, two bright motivating speeches from Andrei Sitnik and Oleg Mokhov are waiting for us.

Fun and convincing, bold and inspired, Andrew will talk about the basic misconceptions about PostCSS and how to use PostCSS and Autoprefixer correctly.

And at the end of the day, Oleg will tell the story, as he was given the task of making “one more book reader in the browser,” but he decided: “If you do, then not one more, but the best.” I decided and did. The history of this product is lively, informative, inspiring to its achievements.

We are waiting for the conference, where each speech is bright, memorable, emotional. Each - from the soul. Everything will be fair, in a warm friendly atmosphere.

After each report 10 minutes to rest - stretch your legs and cheer up with a cup of coffee and cookies. During the day, two large coffee breaks and one lunch break. At the end of the day after-party;)

Fronttalks, Ekaterinburg, September 19, Palladium Business Center.

Come , we are waiting for YOU!
