Telescope from New York to London

A telescope is much more than a telescope; looking at his huge lens in New York - you can see London , and vice versa. These magnificent massive steampunk constructions were opened on May 22 in honor of the 125th anniversary of the Brooklyn Bridge. The creator is a creator named Paul George (Paul St George).

Paul George says that in the 19th century his great-great-grandfather, George Alexander Stanhope, built a trans-Atlantic tunnel from London to New York, which was eventually forgotten. And recently his grandson, the creator of a telescope, found his grandfather's circuitry and, by installing parabolic mirrors at two ends of the world, made this kind of fun possible.

It is impossible to say for sure, since I did not see the telescope alive, but it seems that the mirrors and the tunnel are several cameras and broadband Internet, sending a live broadcast in both directions. But they do not want to destroy a beautiful legend, because it all looks just ... just ... I can't find the words ... sensationally!

The telescope will be installed in London and New York until June 15 and is available for viewing 24/7. US residents need to head to Fulton Ferry Landing in Brooklyn, and Londoners head straight to Tower Bridge if they want to see the Yankees.
