Its owners are 25 regional US operators. Their specialty is content delivery to remote parts of the country. The goal is to become an alternative to “satellite”.
Today this data center is essentially a distribution hub, to which the largest operators from AT & T to Verizon are connected. Its unique location and underground structure increases the level of resistance to weather anomalies, which can not fail to please large customers.
Whether Netflix will remain in this data center is a big question. Let's see how the situation will develop.
