The hardware of the Emperor can include up to 141 processors and 10 terabytes of memory. Now there is support for Red Hat Linux and SUSE Linux, and then there will be Ubuntu for LinuxOne.
At the same time, the company declares a reduction in costs compared to the fact that companies are now spending on such an IT infrastructure, almost twice. The proposed business model is very interesting and implies a payment for the resources used, similar to how IaaS providers pay for services.
