Tor Summer of Privacy
Students in the framework of the pilot program Tor Summer of Privacy continued to work on their projects.
Onion Name System
At the last onion development meeting in Washington, Jesse Victors presented significant progress in working on his DNS-like Onion Name System (OnioNS). Many bugs have been fixed and this software is now in status, ready for a public demonstration. “Interserver interaction needs to be fixed in some bugs, and the code is almost all up to date. As soon as the work is completed, I will be almost ready for beta testing. ”

GetTor Robot
Israel Leiva sent the first report on its project GetTor. GetTor is currently sending links to copies of the Top Browser hosted both on GitHub and in dropbox, the autoresponder message has been supplemented with the necessary information. Upcoming changes include a script for Google Drive, a mirror link distribution, and a github as the default download source. GetTor robot is a project, using which, the user can get a torus browser in cases where this opportunity is blocked (the official site and its mirrors are blocked).

Cristobal Leiva also sent its first report on the Relay Web Status Dashboard project. The user interface prototype was thought out and the development stages were prioritized: “In two weeks I'm going to encode the components of graphs and log viewing.” The Relay Web Status Dashboard project is designed to help operators monitor their torus relays.

OnionBalance allows requests for hidden Tor services to be distributed among multiple instances of Tor.
