Hybrid Conf - the first conference on programmatic-advertising in Russia

The development of spherical products in a vacuum is initially a failure. Especially in such a complex and ambiguous business as online advertising. Sharing experience with colleagues, communicating with customers and advertisers is the first step to creating a relevant and competitive product.



In the early summer of this year, we organized and held the first conference in Russia on programmatic media buying Hybrid Conf . As acknowledged by many participants, it has become an important and, in fact, the only so far milestone in the development of the Russian programmatic market.

The conference was planned as a meeting place for developers and consumers of programmatic technologies. We gathered in the same hall more than 20 speakers from leading Russian and international companies: Targetix, Mail.ru, Google, Auditorius, ViHub, Hubrus, Exebid.DCA and others. They talked about their technology, which they are willing to provide advertisers. On the other hand, agencies and private advertisers expressed their expectations and shared their experience with existing solutions in the RTB infrastructure.



A separate and large section was devoted exclusively to technology. The speakers were often direct developers and authors of the technologies they represented, and their reports turned out to be very detailed and interesting. In particular, we presented our most recent , at that time, development - brand-safety FriendlyIndex technology and targeting keywords KeywordBuilder . In turn, Mail.ru raised a curtain of secrecy over its DMP: they talked about architecture, problems, and their solutions.
