Introduction to machine learning: where to start learning and how to apply

Machine learning is a mathematical discipline that studies algorithms that can extract knowledge from data. Despite the fact that this discipline is mainly theoretical, in the life of most people it plays an increasing role every year. So, it is difficult now to meet a person who has not heard anything about trading robots, Yandex, Google Street View, Siri.



In the report of colleague Aleksadra Senova from the Synqera project for our next technical i-Free meet-up, a small excursion into machine learning was held. From it we learn a little more about the application, consider the main problems arising in the framework of machine learning, as well as algorithms for their solution. Let's pay attention to the problems arising at their application, we will give a couple of examples and recommendations for further study.
