The service for monitoring the work of the sites
Host-tracker has got a new option - a check for getting into the Unified Register of banned sites.

What is the Unified Registry of Banned Sites?
The registry was created in October 2012 by order of the Government of the Russian Federation. All sites that are blocked for viewing for publication of information prohibited in Russia are entered into it. Such information today includes:
• Video-photo-audio materials, as well as texts, characterized as pornography with the participation of minors.
• Information on the methods of manufacture or places of sale of narcotic substances.
• Calls to commit suicide, materials describing methods of committing suicide.
• Calls for riots, extremist activities, inciting interethnic and inter-religious discord.
Blocking sites by Roskomnadzor. Access to Internet resources is restricted on the basis of complaints from their visitors. First, experts check the content of sites for which complaints have been received. In the case of confirmation of the received signals, the hosting providers, on whose servers the sites are located, are sent notifications with the requirement to remove prohibited materials. If this does not happen within three days, the resource is entered in the "black list". Telecom operators are obliged to block access to the site from Russian IP-addresses.
After a citizen submits a complaint to Roskomnadzor, any site may be blocked already 6 days after its receipt. Moreover, not only resources that deliberately publish materials on the verge of a foul are threatened with blocking. The site may be included in the registry banned and by mistake. One day a network of VKontakte got into this registry. Photos posted by some users were categorized as child pornography. Simultaneously with this complaint, others were considered on more than 100 different sites. When locking the sites, the operator mistakenly ticked the VK site. As a result, the multimillion audience of the network for some time could not get on this resource.
If suddenly you have reason to assume that your site may be listed in the banned registry, you can check it using the Host-tracker service.
In the upper right corner of the main page of the service, select RegBL, or in the lower part of it, find the “Features” column and follow the “Quick check” link. In the special field enter the address of your site and click on "Check".
