Quick and dirty: excel to html

I'm not sure that they wrote about it here and consider it my duty to share this hack.

Sometimes the manager comes and says: - I want to see this table on the site.
And leaves.
There are two standard ways:
- or through a certain admin panel in the editor to sculpt the table and fill it with values;
- either pens immediately in html and also fill with values.
And well, if there are 3x5 cells, and if there are more.

Faced with a few years ago, I discovered a method based on using Windows Live Writer (writing software and sending posts to some blogging platforms).

It's simple. The copied table is inserted into the WLW with a special insert with the format preserved



then go to the lower tab “Source” in WLW and copy from the field all the huge code



It turns out as or almost as in the original. Time takes seconds, not counting the one-time cost of attaching WLW to any blog-account.

Practice:

1. save as "Web page in one file." Option "... web page" will not be considered, because he creates a folder with four files.
