Button "Return" and other trifles in the assembly Vivaldi 1.0.233.3

Hello!

So, the new week brings a new weekly build. There are not many noticeable changes in it, but you will find some interesting solutions inside. So, first things first.

Update without cache

')

The new assembly has the opportunity to update the page directly from the server, bypassing the browser cache. This function may be useful for web developers when they need to immediately evaluate the changes made to the site code on the server. You can activate this type of page refresh with the help of keyboard shortcuts - Ctrl + F5, Ctrl / + ⇧, Shift + R.

Return

The “Return” button allows you to return to the viewing history, but it does not do it in the same way as the usual “Back” button. The latter allows you to return to the original page step by step, without missing any previously opened page. The "Return" button allows you to quickly jump to the initial page of the site or section. For example, if you went to an online store, reviewed several products, and then went to the forum to read reviews, then when you click the "Return" button, the following actions will occur:

  1. Return to the first page of the forum, which you entered from the store
  2. Return to the last viewed page with the product
  3. Return to the first page of the store (or to the one with which you started browsing)

To better understand how this works, try experimenting yourself. We hope you enjoy this handy feature.
