More than 40% of software on computers in Russian companies is not used, or it was launched only once. The computing power of the workstations is redundant, and on the Internet the average employee spends a third more time than in work applications. Such data is contained in a report compiled by the analytical center of the Stakhanovets company, which develops software for monitoring employee actions at office computers.

The main figures of the study:
1. About half (40%) of applications installed on workstations in Russian companies are not used at all, or they were launched only once. Part of this software is paid. 90% of the user's active interaction with the computer accounts for 15% of the programs.
2. Office computers have excessive computing power. The average CPU load is 11%. With a hard disk capacity of 250-500 GB, 200 GB are free. The situation with RAM is somewhat better. It is 70% loaded.
3. The average user interacts with the computer 71% of the duration of the working day. At the same time on the Internet, it is 30% longer than in the working applications. However, 40% of the time spent on the Internet, one way or another connected with the implementation of work tasks.
4. The functionality of Microsoft Office is more familiar to users. Employees spend 6-8% less time on standard tasks within the Office than other office suites.
5. Each office employee sends an average of 4-5 pages per day to print. About 20-30% of documents are printed for personal use or are thrown into the basket (in the shredder) within 15 minutes after printing.
