Over the past year and a half, we regularly post videos of courses from our educational projects - Technopark and Technosphere Mail.Ru to the network, and since February this year we have also posted them in our blog on Habré.
Methods of testing web applications ,
in-depth programming in Java , an
introduction to Hadoop ,
methods for building information retrieval systems are just a few examples of the latest topics that we offered everyone to read online.
During this time, we have received from you a lot of advantages, positive reviews, constructive suggestions, and most importantly - about 6,000 (yes, yes, it's true!) Requests to turn the whole story into full-fledged online courses. Now we are actively reflecting on the possibility of implementing such a project. After all, we are physically unable to take everyone to the Technopark and the Technosphere, and besides, not everyone needs to complete these programs. And so in open access would be courses on web development and analysis of big data, which anyone could take place at a convenient time and at their own pace.

As we see it, online training of IT specialists should consist of watching lectures and seminars and, most importantly, carrying out practical tasks to check learned material. After all, you can get practical skills by solving not just tests out of ten questions, but truly non-trivial tasks.
Would such a project be useful to you? And if so, what courses and disciplines would you like to see first in the curriculum? We are waiting for applications and proposals at
elearn@corp.mail.ru or me in PM. Thank you in advance for your feedback!
