Hello!
On August 28-29, the community, with the support of Yandex, 2GIS and PVS-Studio, is holding a
conference entirely devoted to C ++ in Novosibirsk. The conference will be opened by Eric Niebler. There will be speakers from our previous meetings, as well as new faces. The range of topics ranges from discussing unexpected tools for assembling large projects to functional techniques in modern C ++. As always, we will discuss Qt a little bit, talk a bit about mathematics and touch upon the questions of the standard. Applications for reports are still
being accepted . We also plan to devote one track to blitz reports. So if you want to discuss something, you can sign up on the first day, and on the second you can present a brief report on the problem, and we will discuss everything together.

Briefly about the person who will open the conference. If you do not know who Eric Niebler is, you should watch a few of his performances. Eric is an active C ++ developer, consultant, frequent guest at C ++ conferences. He has over 15 years of experience developing in C ++ for Microsoft, Boost.org and BoostPro Computing. The author of libraries (
Boost.Proto ,
Boost.Foreach ,
Boost.Xpressive ,
Boost.Accumulators ). Recently I submitted to the committee a proposal for the inclusion of the
Ranges library into the new standard and became the first to whom the committee allocated a grant for the full-time development of the proposed library.
Alexey
prograholic Kutumov will tell about one definition rule. What it is, why it is needed and how we live with it. Alexander
graninas Granin will continue to break the public brain functional programming. He will talk about the concept of the lens in the OP and how it can be used when developing programs in C ++. Konstantin
PurplePowder Kramlich will talk about the limitations that exist when developing a browser and where they came from. Why you have to live without exception, or RTTI, what this leads to. An unexpected and new topic for us will be covered by Mikhail Kochenov: using maven to build large modular C ++ projects. How to do it, what it will give and so on. Denis Gladky will talk about the algorithms and data structures of rendering automotive routes, features and problems encountered when writing visualization code for several software and hardware platforms. Anton Shcherbakov will share his experience of using Dependecy Injection and IoC containers in C ++. We’ll also talk about Qt, concepts in C ++, a bit about math.
See you in Siberia!
