Once I wrote to myself in LJ, so I decided to share ideas with a wider audience.
Somehow I caught myself thinking that there is one site on which I spend the most time - I have it constantly open.
And also I constantly crawl on other sites - or I collect information, or just curious.
And it turns out that a thought often appears in my head - this is a good quote, this page is nothing, but there is no time, you need to read it later, and so on ...
What does a person do when he is visited by such thoughts?
That's right - either saves the page on the computer, or adds to favorites - no matter where, whether it is a locale or a service which thread. But in most cases, I personally just lose them - I’ll open all these favorites when I’m really bored and have nothing to do - and when I get there, the link is no longer relevant ...
And then I thought - because the site on which I always - I have it always at hand, and I always open it. And this is just my site, the one that I do.
And I thought the second time - and what if on my site, since I open it all the time - will there be everything that interests me? )))
In short, in the end I did this: I made myself a text entry field, the send button.
I found something interesting - just added to this field - clicked - the field was updated by the Ajax. Toast, the updated record went to the table, updated the layer - showed a new record ... The field is in constant editing mode, not just displaying data from the table.
Further more. Since the site is not only mine, but there are still a lot of users there, I have made such a field for everyone. Correspondingly, each of them only has his own such little note - threw off the data, so as not to forget.
These are the pies. Maybe the idea of someone to come in handy is a bunch of implementations, so I won't technically write. And so not very smart)))
