The third meeting of the DataTalks community will take place on July 23.

This time we will talk about how to correctly collect data using online surveys. We will discuss the possibilities and limitations of this method, as well as share the secrets and trends from the research of user preferences.
The representatives of the companies Wargaming, Studio Sorokina and Kulinkovich, as well as the Deputy Dean for Science of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, will share the secrets of conducting and processing the results of online surveys.

19: 15–19: 55 How not to lose your head reading the thoughts of users: the secrets of conducting online surveys
Svetlana Polovinkina, Head of Wargaming Audience Research
About 10 years engaged in marketing research in the field of B2B and B2C. During this time, I visited both the researcher and the customer. Independently conducted more than 100 studies. Develops expertise in game user research, leading the direction of online surveys in Wargaming.



Should I listen to users? Is it possible to make a product perfect, having learned the wishes of users? Svetlana will talk about the main misconceptions of customers regarding online surveys and how not to get hooked on the easy conclusions from research findings. She will review cases of combining survey data with the company's internal statistics, as well as compare data obtained through online surveys and other methods.
