What does this fashion term mean? Take at least an IT specialist. Who can be considered a professional, by what parameters to determine it? Is it enough to call yourself a professional, for example, to be able to program in some language?, To speak a foreign language?, To be recognizable? etc. Is it necessary to consider yourself as a professional to possess besides highly specialized knowledge and some moral qualities? Is there any generally recognized community (professional association), etc. in the IT field? membership in which would confirm the professionalism of the person, lobby for the interests of the community and, most importantly, would they be responsible for the behavior of the members? If so, by what criteria are they admitted to this association and how do they determine the professionalism of applicants?
