Microsoft Surface is a fundamentally new type of interface that combines a touchscreen and a gesture recognition system. The LaserTouch system works on the same principle, but it supports almost any type of flat panel monitor, including projection displays, and the accuracy of motion tracking has increased significantly. Technological stuff - two lasers and a digital camera - cost only a couple of hundred dollars. Thus, according to Wilson, the system can now be installed even on office computers.

Demonstrating the LaserTouch capabilities, Andy Wilson flipped through PowerPoint presentations on a 30-inch screen without any problems. This is the second appearance of the LaserTouch in public.
