New Intel IoT Developer Kit released

Good news for professionals and amateurs who create the Internet of things. Intel has released a new version of Intel IoT Developer Kit 1.5 . Here is a list of the most significant innovations:

• Yocto on Intel Edison and Intel Galileo updated to version 1.7.2
• MinnowBoard Max support added
• Added Mac OS X installer for Intel Edison and offline Windows installer
• New project templates and automatic updating of linking libraries for Eclipse IDE and Intel XDK IoT Edition
• Integrated Sensor Library (UPM) and Connection Manager for Eclipse IDE
• Updated I / O library (mraa), now has full support for UART, added JavaScript documentation and new APIs
• Added support for more than 100 sensors via UPM with updated JavaScript documentation.
