Greetings, dear community Habr. This is my first post. I would like to post it in the “I am PR” blog, but I don’t have enough karma, so I’m writing in a personal blog.
In this post I present you the site dedicated to the real estate market www.e-gis.ru , the developer of which I am.

A bit of history

The site has been developed with varying success since 2005 and has experienced more than one version. The last major update happened this year at the end of March. Developers employed in the project only 2 people. In my area of ​​responsibility is everything except the map , the development of which the second programmer deals with. Since I study at NSTU , it is not always possible to work on the project in full force, and during the sessions I generally have to stop work.

On March 21, 2008 a new version of the Professional Real Estate Website was launched. Among the many innovations should be noted:

1. new, more comfortable and functional design;
2. improved search for ads;
3. the possibility of placing ads without registration;
4. tool for plotting the dynamics of real estate prices.

After the start of operation of the first version of the site, it became obvious that the ad search tool was not flexible enough, and placing ads only by registered users is not always convenient. Also, thanks to the numerous reviews and wishes of users, it was possible to formulate the requirements for the new version of the site.

The result was a powerful, fast and, at the same time, extremely flexible search tool for ads. Now, if necessary, it is possible to formulate exact requests for “ New announcements ”, “ Urgent ”, to your own and to announcements of any user. In the new version it is much more convenient to change the geography of the search: for example, you can view offers for the entire region, only for a specific area or limit the search to a specific locality. Now you can view all the ads of a particular user, and all the search refinements here still work.

On the pages with a detailed description of the proposed property placed "Mortgage Calculator". With the help of which users can calculate monthly payments. Moreover, the bank interest, the amount of the down payment and the loan period, users can set independently. From the table with the calculations also shows how much the borrower will pay the bank.
Many users place ads once a year, or even less, in this case, mandatory registration is an additional obstacle for them to use our site. Therefore, we have provided the ability to add ads without registering.

The “ Statistics ” section, where the price dynamics for real estate in the Novosibirsk Region is displayed, is supplemented with a graphing tool.

Every day we continue to improve the already created services, and develop new ones. In the near future, we will please our users with new features.
