Hello. I want to share with you a simple little scheme, namely a voltage regulator for AC 220 volts. The design is quite simple and does not require large investments, and any novice radio amateur can assemble such a scheme. I use this construction for a self-made electric stove on which we prepare porridge for dogs, and recently applied it to a soldering iron.
For the manufacture of this regulator, we need:
a pair of resistors per 1 kΩ can even be 0.25 w, one variable resistor per 1 mΩ, two capacitors 0.01 μF and 47 nF, one dynistor that I took from an economy bulb, the dynistor does not have a polarity so that you can solder it as you like, we also need a triac with a small radiator, I used the TS series in a metal case for 10 amps, but KU208G can be used we also need screw terminals. ')
Yes, by the way a bit about a variable resistor if you set it to 500 kΩ, it will adjust quite smoothly, but only from 220 to 120 volts, and if it is 1 mΩ, it will be hard to adjust with an interval of 5-10 volts, but the range will increase from 220 to 60 volt. Here I made a small video about the triac regulator.
