In 2015, the
non-profit organization AIIM surveyed 422 IT professionals from around the world on the following topic:
What Microsoft cloud applications are widely used in your organization?

')
The most popular cloud product was Lync, used by 41% of respondents. Exchange 365 / Outlook Web ranks second, showing an increase of up to 26% compared to 20% in 2013.
The popularity of cloud-based SharePoint 365 / Online has increased significantly, reaching 18% in 2015 compared with 8% (2 years ago). Office 365 growth is slightly less - from 7% to 13%. There is a certain variation of indicators, depending on the size of the business. SharePoint 365 / Online penetration is 28% in small, 10% in medium and 16% in large companies, while Office 365 is used by 17% of small businesses and by 11% in large and medium businesses.
Even more intriguing was the rise from 6% to 18% of the former SkyDrive Pro, today OneDrive for Business, which showed Microsoft's timely response to the demand created by startups to store and synchronize files. Representatives of small businesses with a penetration rate of 26% are in the lead, while only 10% are medium and the same amount - and large organizations use OneDrive.
An interesting picture of the distribution of users Yammer, especially in the context of the organization. Many of the 18% of companies that use it extensively have noted their primary use in HR or IR. The other 22% of businesses use Yammer, occasionally, on request. 21% of the research audience indicated that they use similar products from other vendors.
The total number of users of Microsoft 365 cloud products, including Office 365, SharePoint 365 and OneDrive for Business, has doubled since 2013, to about 15% of business representatives.
According to my feelings, the market in Russia is still waiting and not rushing to rush into the clouds. Waiting for a hybrid solution that can work including on-premise, waiting for interesting and stable products, some successful cases of their colleagues.
