A student is tried in Karelia for distributing pornography
A student is judged in Petrozavodsk (Karelia) for distributing pornography on the Internet for the first time in the history of local court practice.
The republican prosecutor's office informs that the 19-year-old student of one of the Petrozavodsk technical schools from his home computer posted a 40-second video on the server of one of the providers, containing “elements of pornography and bestiality”. According to Interfax, the case was initiated under Art. 242 of the Criminal Code "Illegal distribution of pornographic materials" (punishment of up to two years in prison).
