Google opened Google Sites for everyone

Now anyone can use the Google Sites service to create their site. Is free.

The advantages of sites from Google are that you can connect to the resource all their services from Calendar to Picasa albums and YouTube videos.
Additional feature - restricting access to the site. You can open it for everyone, and you can restrict access, for example, only to employees of your company.

Strangely enough, having tried to register the site, I found that it is closed from being indexed by all search engines in the robots.txt file. What for?
Another disadvantage is addressing. The site will have an address of the form: sites.google.com/ name . In the free version, domain 2 or at least 3 levels, as I understood, is not yet provided.
