The great Japanese warrior named Nobunaga decided to attack the enemy, although there were ten times more enemies. He knew he would win, but his soldiers doubted.
On the way, he stopped at a Shinto shrine and told his people:
- After I visit the shrine, I will throw a coin. If an eagle falls, we win, if tails, we lose. Destiny holds us in hand.
Nobunaga entered the shrine and silently prayed. Having left, he threw a coin. The eagle fell. His soldiers were so eager to fight that they easily won the battle.

“Of course not,” Nobunaga answered, showing him a coin that had an eagle on both sides.
