We are developing a website portfolio for one photographer. There was a dispute about how to organize photos.
Headings or
tags ?
On the one hand, the usual construction of such a portfolio goes under
headings , where all the pictures are selected and rigidly fixed for each category. shooting ”and“ booze ”. Or a photo of a beautiful snowdrop is simultaneously suitable for the headings "nature", "flowers" and "macro". In social networks, in some blogging platforms, the combined use of
headings and
tags is often used.
During the discussion, I remembered the anecdote:
The lion, the king of beasts, gathered everyone in the meadow and said: - Beautiful - to the left, clever - to the right. The monkey rushes here and there. The lion says to her: “What are you, a monkey?” “Well, I can't burst!” I am smart and beautiful!
So, thanks to the tags, now any monkey can be
at the same time both “smart” and “beautiful” =) There was a way out for it! At least, the method with
tags or
combination seems to me more flexible for solving such problems. And using
only hard rubrics and categories is
morally obsolete .
I wonder what principle of work organization / photos / projects you prefer in the development?
