Robot, bring your master on VDNH

All self-made and not very robots are invited to take part in the meeting of robots on June 10 at ENEA . It's time to show yourself in action!

The robotic station will launch dozens of improvised robots with the noble goal of studying the environmental situation. Any robot capable of qualifying can take part.

The task of these robots is to collect information about the state of ecology and the environment.
All collected data will be provided to the Department of Environmental Management with a proposal to use devices for monitoring the state of the environmental situation in the city.



The launch of the project will be covered by more than 10 major media outlets (TVC, NTV, Evening Moscow, Science 2.0, Moskovsky Komsomolets, Komsomolskaya Pravda, Lifenews, Itartass, thevillage, Moscow 24, Ria Novosti, Vesti Moscow, Russia1, Ren-TV, Metro newspaper). The best robots will be awarded prizes.

Below are the technical requirements for the robot, our wishes:

1. Offline travels up to 30 minutes (battery)
2. Solar panels for recharging
3. Wheeled or tracked platform (quadrocopters separately)
4. Independently chooses the route
5. Independently returns to the Robotan Station
6. Obstacle sensors and detour program
7. GPS GLONASS navigation to determine the coordinates and the ability to find a way home
8. Playing a sound greeting when meeting obstacles
9. Scientific equipment: gas analyzers of all stripes, microphone, camera, weather station, any other environmental sensors (if there are none, you can install it at the Rostantstation, but come beforehand)
10. Sizes up to 30-50 cm along the axes, weight up to 10-15 kg, speed up to 6 km / h, height up to 50-70 cm
11. On the case there is a sign with the name of the project, the name of the robot, the contacts of the station and the request to return to the owners
12. Personalization under the "live" robot is welcome - a la Valli.

Here is the minimum that the robot must do:

1. the robot must drive around the fountain of Friendship of Peoples
2. take 2-3 air samples
3. measure air temperature
4. drive around an obstacle
5. stop at the right places
6. say a greeting
7. have a robot name
8. back to the starting point.
