Samsung launches prototype laptop with AMOLED screen

On the Korean website of Samsung SDI recently appeared information about the conceptual development in the field of mobile computers, in which several interesting ideas were applied at once.

The laptop shown in the illustration has a very compact size. This was achieved through the use of a touchpad keyboard and a screen made using AMOLED technology. The screen size of 12.1 inches (30.7 cm) diagonally has a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels and is characterized by high contrast and brightness. By these parameters, the AMOLED screen surpasses the usual liquid crystal displays.

The company plans to launch the serial production of notebooks with AMOLED screens in the coming year.
