Opera Widgets SDK beta

Not stopping there, the developers of Opera Software continue to release interesting and long-awaited development tools. In particular, today's press release announces the release of the public testing of Opera Widgets SDK beta. This tool allows you to create widgets for both the desktop version of Opera, and for mobile versions that support the operation of opera widgets. Main components:

- Emulator widgets, allowing you to quickly check the operation of widgets without installing them in the browser;
- Library sets that allow adding animations and other components to widgets;
- Documentation that helps to master the process of creating widgets;
- Direct link to online help pages and thematic developer forums;
- Opera Dragonfly - widget debugging tools (which, as you know, are small web applications);

Opera Widgets SDK is built on the basis of open W3C standards and uses such common networking technologies as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Ajax.
