Where so many people come from - 2

Continuing the topic of the note “ Where in people is so much evil? ", I wanted to draw attention to the note" Wonderful possibilities GMail ».

So, the note says that it is possible (and, judging by the comments, quite a while ago) to select letters in the “from and to” range using the Shift button. And here, actually, my thoughts about what he saw in the comments.

People commenting on the note were divided into several categories:
1. Those who use GMail, and were happy to learn such a nice "feature."
2. Those who use GMail, but have already heard about this opportunity (it does not matter whether they use it or not).
3. Those who said: “Bullshit your Google, in Yandex this can be done for a long time”.
4. Those who said: “Bullshit your Google, because there you can’t do anything _near_you_”.
5. Well, of course, those who just passed by.

And now let's think together, is it important that Yandex (Yahoo, etc) has such an opportunity for a long time? What do you care? It becomes clear that these people use Yandex. Mail, and are extremely happy about it, while at the first opportunity try to prove their “uniqueness” to users of other services.
I have nothing against Yandex, and I have used Yandex. Photo for quite a long time, because it seemed to me much better (faster, “easier”) than Google’s Picasso, but I prefer to use GMail as a mail service.
')
And is it really important, what services, and from which manufacturers do we use? I can receive emails in the same way as Yandex.Mail users, and just as they can reply to these emails. Why would anyone constantly prove (or try to prove) that one is better than the other? Why these constant friction a la "Yandex is better than Google," etc? I posted a note for users of GMail, who (fact) were pleasantly surprised by this opportunity. Why bother to answer at all (I'm not talking about plus / minus) to notes (news, articles) that are useless to you personally?

In general, it is not clear =)
