Results of the project competition with the Aviasales API
Our project competition using the Aviasales API and other open data has been completed, and we, as promised, are summing up today. Once again we want to thank all the participants for their interest and zeal - we received more registrations and entries than we expected, and this is very nice! For the final, we selected the 20 most interesting ones.
Evaluating the work, we paid attention to the following criteria:
And we are happy to announce the winner - the privet.travel project under the leadership of Vadim Merzlikin has become - he receives 150,000 rubles for development and promotion.

The decisive role was played by two factors: the technical implementation of the project and its commercial component. We still don’t see breakthrough innovations and super ideas here, but this is the most thoughtful and complete project that has already received the first results and started to gain an audience, which means that with the proper strategy it will earn. Separately, we want to note the seriousness of the approach to the promotion of the project - the right way to go, comrades!
Initially, we were going to make no difference between the web and mobile and evaluate all projects together, but during the voting we decided to establish another additional prize for the best mobile project - it was Ivan Rygovsky's Traveler Today application, which will receive 50,000 rubles. We believe that the project has good potential.
There were some interesting ideas in the descriptions of the works of other finalists, but unfortunately, not all the projects were finalized to the stage when we can see and test the features stated in the presentation. We hope all of you (including the winner) will continue to develop and in a couple of months you will show a lot more ready projects, and we, as promised, will always help with advice and send the project in the right direction.
And in order to work more fun, we give all the participants of the competition a higher rate - 70%, for the first 3 months. As soon as you decide that the project is ready, write to the support and we will turn it on.
Well, we will give more detailed comments to each person personally - in the near future you will receive letters with criticism and recommendations.
