Panasonic integrates YouTube and Picasa into its plasma panels.
For the flagship line of plasma panels Panasonic TH-PZ850U now no connection to the PC is required.
The “Viera Cast” interface allows you to search YouTube for a keyword, sort videos by popularity or enter your favorites and view your video. You can also access the Picasa service, and view photos.

Also, all TVs in this series will default to pre-installed widgets from Bloomberg with stock quotes, as well as weather information provided by the Weather Channel service. Surprisingly, Panasonic does not plan to use RSS technology, as implemented in the Samsung LN52A650 .
