The best students from all over the world take part in the “Intellect Battle” World Programming Championship

A new generation of the programmer elite gathered in Marrakesh, Morocco to compete today, May 20, in the finals of the 39th Student World Computer Programming Championship ( ICPC ) of the Computer Engineering Association, which is a global sponsor of IBM. The championship is held under the patronage of His Royal Majesty the King of Morocco Mohammed VI. This year, the championship is hosted by the University of Mohammed V , the University of Al Ahabain , the University of Mundiapolis and the ACM Association in Morocco .

The most prestigious competition for programmers headquartered at Baylor University ( Baylor University ), also known as the “ Battle of the Brains ”, takes place for the first time on the African continent. The best programmers from all over the world should cope with several difficult real-life tasks in five hours. All teams compete for a time in a battle of logic, strategy and endurance. The final of the ACM-ICPC is attended by 128 teams that won the regional tournaments held last fall. A record number of finalists reached the regional level: 38,160 participants from 2,534 universities from 101 countries who competed in 450 different venues on 6 continents to receive one of 128 invitations to the championship final in Morocco.
