Habrahabr appropriated to everyone according to the “dog”

On International Literacy Day, Habrahabr introduced some changes and assigned each user a “dog”. Now, next to the login under your publication, you can observe such a “harmless creation” as the @ sign.

I think everyone saw this in one popular social network, but for what purpose it was done by the Habrahabr team it is difficult to say with certainty. In turn, the developers have not yet provided any information regarding this innovation, and it is not a fact that they will provide it at all. The only thing that we can independently notice is that the class attribute with the name post-author__link has been added to the HTML code of the Habrahabr resource.

<a title=" " class="post-author__link" href="http://habrahabr.ru/users/Osaul/">@Osaul</a>

For example, the Geektimes resource does not yet have this attribute, but most likely it is a matter of time and all these changes will affect both it and the rest of Thematic Media (TM) projects.

If you remember the story of Habrahabr and look into its recent past, then TM has already dealt with the well-known Internet giant of the RuNet for which the @ sign is part of the corporate identity. If anyone has forgotten, then in its time Mail.ru owned shares of Habrahabr, which Denis Kryuchkov deniskin tried to buy back himself for a long time, by the way another rune-type “monster” Yandex lent him money. But honestly, how little it is hard to believe that Habrahabr decided to re-associate himself with the “bonds of marriage” with Mail.ru, and I don’t want to believe in it, I think with them one time was quite enough.

What really lies behind this ordinary, but at the same time functional sign? Let's wait a bit and just watch what happens next. If not the developers, then time itself will give the answer to this question. In the meantime, all mercies, I ask you to take part in the voting and tell whether you like purely visual this decision from Habrahabr.

UPD: Geektimes followed his "elder brother" and also changed a little.
