io.js integrates with NodeJS

A few days ago, there was a meeting of the technical committee of the io.js project , at which a decision was made to reunite with Node.js and further joint development under the auspices of the Node Foundation.

Just six months ago, 5 of 7 key Node.js developers who were dissatisfied with the conservative policies of Joyent , which oversees the development of the Node.js project, joined the development of the io.js fork.

io.js was more competitive in performance and speed of development. This made Joyent “cheer up” and stop ignoring community opinion .

In response to Joyent’s call to return to working together, io.js members accepted the offer and expressed their willingness to develop a joint product under the Node.js brand.
