For a couple of years, I heard from my friends puzzled questions about when a service will appear in Russia that would talk about the dynamics and prices of shares of Russian companies, just like the Western financial portals Google Finance and Yahoo Finance do in their markets. Well, well - wait is not long.
Today I invite good and interested habrarudey to participate in testing
TIKR.ru , a service capable of solving problems of searching, analyzing and presenting information about Russian promotions using interactive graphics on flash.
According to its technological capabilities, TIKR.ru is similar to the mentioned services. The main difference from foreign peers is that the focus is on companies whose shares are traded on the largest stock exchange of Russia - the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX). So, for example, today looks like a graph comparing potential investments in RBC (blue) and Armada (red) over the past three months:
I am particularly interested in comments from the community, since I assume that with the upcoming release on the stock exchanges of leading Russian companies, Internet users' interest in investments will grow rapidly. Therefore, I am in the team promoting the introduction of the most modern solutions in the style of web 2.0. For example, while I have never seen the obvious use of a tag cloud (tags) to display tickers; the size of the ticker reflects the size of the change in price relative to yesterday's closing price; accordingly, the red color represents the fall, and green - the growth of quotations. Maybe this solution is intuitively incomprehensible, and therefore it has not been used before? (By the way - in China, for example, colors are perceived exactly the opposite.)

I welcome any comments and suggestions that will make the service better and, for my part, offer an experimental (more advanced) version of the project for active tester users. Logging in to TIKR.ru for external users has only recently been allowed. So do not judge strictly - there are mistakes, but we will correct them as quickly as the strength of our small team allows.
