Game Exhibitions 2015

In light of the imminent release of our project (already this summer), our team decided to explore what kind of game events will be held in 2015 and which ones we should pay attention to. As soon as this list was compiled, we carefully studied it and selected the events of interest to us. We suggest you also get acquainted with this list of more than 30 events.

Let's start with the bad news. Unfortunately, as you could already know , the GDC in 2015 will not take place. But there are still a couple of good events worth a look, if not as a participant, then as a visitor - necessarily.

OGIC is an exhibition of advances in computer technology and graphics. The event brings together developers of computer games, distributors and publishers, service providers, services and entertainment equipment, representatives of educational centers and schools, producers, production centers and other representatives of the industry. The exhibition includes e-sports competitions in various disciplines, such as Dota 2, StarCraft 2, Counter Strike, League of Legends, etc.

NextCastle

NextCastle Party is a unique non-commercial gaming festival, which will be held in St. Petersburg. The main focus is on independent developers and retro games.
The festival combines contests for game developers, competitions among players, a retro exhibition where you can easily use all the exhibits, look at the exhibition of self-made games and play them, and, of course, some lectures that will lift the veil of game development secrets.
Among the goals of the festival, I especially want to highlight a couple of main ones: to give a second life to the old, good games, on which more than one generation has grown, to support independent game developers.

Indievelopment

Indievelopment is a conference dedicated to independent game developers, organized on the initiative of students. Meetings with designers, programmers, artists, composers and many other people of the indie scene. Organizers want to inspire and educate students on a variety of game development experiences. Since its foundation in 2012, Indievelopment has grown significantly. The main goal is to give young developers a platform for communication with colleagues and more experienced professionals.

Tokyo Game Show

Game Industre Conference (GIC)
